The doctors didn’t believe him and police were later sent to raid his fifth floor apartment in Harlem. There they discovered not only by a 400lb living tiger, but also a 5 foot Cayman alligator.

  • In Bulgaria, to shake one's head means "yes" and to nod means "no".
    To be more precise, the "no" gesture is made by raising one's chin sharply and is accompanied by a "tsk" sound. This gesture is common in many countries which were formerly part of the Ottoman Empire.
    Shaking one's head to mean yes, or to show approval or enjoyment, is common to India, Pakistan and several other Central Asian countries.
  • The longest poker game in western history is said to have run continuously for 8 years, 5 months and 3 days. It took place in Tombstome, Arizona, USA at a table below the stage of the Bird Cage Theatre. The Bird Cage closed in 1889 but today the poker table still stands just as it was left at the end of the game.
  • It is impossible to lick your elbow.
