Transcipt of final entry in diary:
Oct 29, 1921 After a month's revision, passed the Essay on Consciousness for Fisher Unwin to publish. Eighteen years ago tomorrow I began the English People Overseas, with no thought on writing on such a subject as this - but lameness knocked out the possibility of further history writing, + now philosophy has won my allegiance - if this book is successful, + I live in health, I may yet tackle the deeper question of Time + Space - But not for some time yet.
